Francis George - LLB (Hons), Managing Director and Solicitor-Advocate
Having graduated in law from Hull in 1992 Francis carried out Post Graduate work in Management and worked at the Sailors Family Society.
Having travelled he returned to the College of Law, York and then joined fullagarbrooks solicitors, where he cut his teeth as a Civil Litigator. He then joined Stanger, Stacey and Mason in a similar role prior to joining Richard Griffiths and Co where he became a Partner and the Head of Litigation. Personally listed in the Legal 500 2006 Francis formed the firm in 2007. Francis is the Chair of the local Resolution Committee.
He is a keen rugby player/fan of both codes and a prime mover in one of Rugby Leagues newest clubs Swindon St.George. He has enjoyed progressing through Tae Kwon Do belts and has now attained a second Dan black firstname.lastname@example.org
Asif Robbani - LLB (Hons) LLM, Director and Solicitor-Advocate
Asif graduated from the University of Glamorgan and has a Masters degree from Cardiff University. Asif is a senior member of the litigation team and a Director of the firm with a particular interest in personal injury, employment and company commercial disputes. He has experience in a wide range of advocacy and commercial dispute resolution and has recently qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate. He now prides himself on assisting his civil litigation clients from the start of their case until the conclusion. Emma George BA (Hons) CIMA - Director of Finance
Emma graduated from Hull University with a degree in Geography and qualified as a CIMA Accountant in 2001 whilst on The NHS Graduate Financial Management Training Scheme. She then worked within finance in The NHS for a number of years.
She has been providing financial, business and IT support for the firm since it opened and is the Finance Director.

Ross Peters BA (Hons) - Director and Family and Probate Solicitor
Ross received a First Class degree in Journalism from Teesside University and completed his Graduate Diploma in Law at UWE. He works as a Solicitor for the Family and Probate departments wowing clients with his shorthand skills. Ross is able to advise in relation to all aspects of family law as well as complex estates. He is an avid rugby player and fan having played for England Colleges, his County at junior and senior levels and enjoys long walks on the email@example.com
Jessica Howell LLB (Hons) – Director and Family Chartered Legal Executive
Jessica previously worked as a medical receptionist and spent time with the firm during work experience. Her abilities were quickly realised and she is now a core member of the family team. Jessica graduated from Cardiff University in 2015 with a 2:1 degree in Law LLB. She started out as a Paralegal but it quickly became apparent that she had much more to offer and she commenced her CILEx studies. She is now fully qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive and is able to represent clients from the outset of their case until the conclusion.

Julie Butcher – Chartered Legal Executive – Family Team
Julie has been a family lawyer since 1992 when she became a Chartered Legal Executive. She is a knowledgeable and experienced family lawyer, specialising in divorce, children and finances and a great asset to the firm. Julie loves to travel having spent many years living on and off in Spain.

Sian Kalynka LLB (Hons) - Family and Probate Solicitor
Sian completed her legal studies at Plymouth University and graduated in 2006. She later went on to complete the LPC in 2008. She swiftly returned to her homeland and joined the Police Force as a Licensing Officer. Her heart however remained in law, and after having her 2 young children, she joined the firm as a Paralegal. Sian was given a training contract in the family department and is now qualified as a Solicitor and able to assist clients on all aspects of family law and wills, trusts and probate.

Lisa Cowley– LLB (Hons), Paralegal - Family, Wills Trusts and Probate and Civil Litigation
Lisa is one of our trainee paralegals and works across Civil Litigation, Family and Wills Trusts and Probate. She joined the firm after completing her law degree and is hoping to qualify as a solicitor. Lisa is originally from Swindon, having gone to Kingsdown school.

Lucy Daniels - Trainee Solicitor
Lucy graduated from the University of the West of England in 2014 with a 2:1 Degree in Law LLB. She then undertook the Legal Practice Course LLM alongside working at a local law firm where she worked her way up from Secretary to Fee-earner.
Lucy works in the Residential Conveyancing department and specialises in a variety of transactions including freehold and leasehold purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions. She aims to provide her clients with a high-quality service and to provide her clients with concise advice set out in plain English. Outside of work, Lucy enjoys going on adventures with her two young daughters, walking in the countryside with her dogs and is currently rehabilitating an ex-racehorse with hopes of eventing in the firstname.lastname@example.org
Beth Garrett – Paralegal
After graduating with a First-Class degree in Law from BPP University in 2014 Beth received a full scholarship to study the BPTC part time, together with raising her three children and running a small business. Beth was called to the Bar as an unregistered barrister with an Outstanding BPTC result in 2016.
She has since voluntarily helped disadvantaged litigants in person as a legal McKenzie Friend and has just joined the team at francis george solicitor-advocate in March 2022. She intends to qualify as a solicitor.

Lana James - Paralegal Apprentice
Lana studied Law A level at sixth form alongside Biology and Sociology before going on to work in customer service at Thames Water for a year. She is currently working in the conveyancing department as a paralegal apprentice and has chosen the Cilex route to becoming a lawyer as an alternative to university. Megan Want - Paralegal
Megan went to Henry Box school and sixth form, which is in Witney
She has recently graduated from the University of Law with a 2:1 in LLB Law whilst working full time in hotel management for the first 3 years and then as a Paralegal at fgsa for the past year.
She started at fgsa in August 2020 during the pandemic and is now doing the new SQE route to qualify as a solicitor.

Helen is originally from Gloucester but moved to Swindon for work where she has since settled. Yasmin Mahmood – Paralegal Apprentice
Yasmin has proved that hard work and commitment can really pay off. Since leaving school after her GCSEs she completed a Business Admin Apprenticeship at the firm and is now training to become a lawyer. She is a member of the conveyancing team however if you ever need to know how something works or where it is located in the office, she’s the person to speak to!

Alison Allen - Accounts Assistant
Ali joined the firm in November 2017 working in the Accounts Department. Previous to this she was an Accounts Assistant at Zurich for 12 years. She completed her AAT qualification in 2007 and is now a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Melanie Fitzgerald - Accounts Assistant
Mel joined the firm in March 2021 working in the Accounts Department. Previous to this she was a bookkeeper for a local HMO company that housed over 200 tenants. She completed her AAT qualification in 2004 when she was working for Swindon Borough Council as an Internal Auditor. Lydia Brandreth - Paralegal Conveyancing
Lydia joined Francis George Solicitor-Advocate in January 2022 within the Conveyancing Department as a Paralegal. She is a third year LLB student and is working towards becoming a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in conveyancing.
Previously a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Lydia graduated with a degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2017. She began studying for her LLB part-time in 2019 together with nursing and got a job as a conveyancing assistant in a law firm in 2020.
In her free time, Lydia enjoys working on her small company growing and selling houseplants, and producing plant pots. She also loves discovering the Cotswolds with her rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bobby and taking off for trips in her campervan.
Hollie Pullen - Paralegal – Civil Litigation
Hollie graduated at BPP University in 2014 with a 2:1 degree in Law LLB. During her degree she worked as a Witness Service Volunteer supporting witnesses and their friends and family when they came to court. She also finished several work experience positions at several firms in the Swindon region. After taking time out for a few years to raise her family and start a small business, she joined the law firm at the start of 2022 to embark on her legal career.
Hollie is currently working as a Civil Litigation Paralegal expecting to qualify as a Solicitor soon. Her hobbies include reading, investing and psychology.
