ABOUT US

divorce solicitors swindon

History of our Law Firm

Francis started the firm in Old Town Swindon, having grown up in the town. He went to university and lived away for many years but came back to be closer to his family.

He has practiced law across the south and south-west of England and represented clients from all over the UK and abroad in Family matters, Civil Litigation, Wills Trusts and Probate, Conveyancing and even Crime.

He brought a wealth of experience and knowledge not just for individuals but also for small and medium sized businesses.

The firm started out as a family firm and still maintains that ethos at its heart. However it has now grown into a team of dynamic lawyers who practice across the UK with offices in Swindon and Witney and with plans to open a third office in the near future.

The firm has always prided itself on its excellent service. Clients in Swindon and Witney are encouraged to come and meet their lawyer in person and know that there is always someone they can speak to directly about their case.

Seeking solutions in a non-confrontational way, with no need to draft in third-party help such as a barrister.

A local law firm

We are on The High Street in Swindon and Witney, with an open door policy and a friendly face. Our office in Swindon has wheelchair access.

Recruitment

We try and recruit locally if possible, giving young lawyers in the locality a chance to develop to their full potential in or near their hometown.

Schools

We have links with many local schools, such as The Commonweal School and The Ridgeway School in Swindon, The Henry Box School, Witney and Cirencester College in Gloucestershire.

We attend careers days and offer work experience to students considering a career in the law and to university students studying for a Law Degree.

Charities

The firm supports many local charities in Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and beyond. These include:

Cancer Research: We work in collaboration with Cancer Research to raise money through discounted wills.

Prospect Hospice in Swindon and Sobell House Hospice in Oxford.

Through RunVember we support Swindon Food Collective, The Harbour Project and Threshold Housing.

Ross Peters, one of our Directors, sits on The Board of Threshold Housing, a charity providing support for homeless people.

The firm is also proud to sponsor Swindon St George Rugby League Team, The Lethbridge 10K (an annual race) and Run Ladies Swindon.

We participate in The Oxfordshire Legal Walk, organised by The London Legal Support Trust, supporting free legal advice for all.

Part of the community

Integrity, value and excellence in everything we do.

Having been recommended to Francis George for my family law issue I couldn’t be happier. Jessica was professional, knowledgeable and successfully got the outcome I wanted in a very short space of time. Would recommend Francis George and Jessica to anyone with a legal issue.
