Moving Home This Spring? Get Ahead in April

April is the busiest time of year to buy or sell your property

April is one of the busiest times of year for the property market. As more homes come to market, more buyers start looking, and things tend to move quickly.

If you are planning to buy or sell, getting organised now can make the whole process smoother and far less stressful.

At francis george solicitor-advocate, we help clients with their conveyancing across Swindon, Witney and beyond manage every legal aspect of their move, from the first instruction through to completion.

Why April Is a Key Time to Move

Spring always brings momentum. Properties show better, buyers are more active, and sellers are keen to secure good offers.

That means:

  • Buyers need to be ready to act quickly

  • Sellers often benefit from increased interest

  • Chains can build fast and need careful handling

With more activity comes more pressure, so having the right legal support in place early is essential.

What We Do to Support Your Move

Moving home involves more than just paperwork. There are multiple legal steps that need to be handled properly to protect you and keep everything on track.

We take care of:

  • Reviewing contracts and title documents

  • Carrying out property searches

  • Raising and answering enquiries

  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors

  • Managing the exchange of contracts and completion

Our role is to make sure everything is legally sound, clearly explained, and progressing without unnecessary delays.

Start Early and Stay Ahead

One of the simplest ways to avoid delays is to get a solicitor involved as early as possible.

In a busy April market, that early preparation can give you a real advantage.

Keeping Your Move on Track

When the market is busy, delays often come from outside your control. Searches can take longer, lenders can be slower, and chains can become complicated.

We stay on top of the process, chase where needed, and keep you informed throughout so you are never left guessing.

A Straightforward, Reliable Approach

We keep things simple. No jargon, no confusion.

Just clear advice, regular updates, and a focus on getting your move completed as smoothly as possible.

Whether you are buying or selling in Swindon, Witney or the surrounding areas, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Ready to Get Started?

If you are thinking about moving this spring, now is the time to act. The earlier you get things in motion, the better your chances of a smooth and timely completion.
